K-3 Classroom Consolidation - Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Marquette Area Public Schools’ June 9 Board of Education meeting included discussion regarding implementation of proposed K-3 Classroom Consolidation recommendations.  That board meeting provided our community with a second opportunity to weigh in on an important topic.  The session's information was included in a Power Point which contained information brought into focus during the Board of Education's June 4 work session.  Please take time to review the following slides that were part of the June 9 board meeting.  If you would like to discuss aspects of this topic, please feel free to contact me via email (jhartwig@mapsnet.org) or telephone (906-225-5326).  Second, the Board of Education is interested in determining whether a second work session regarding proposed K-3 classroom consolidation is needed.  Please contact me if you have interest in attending another board work session.

Thanks for your time,
