Welcome to the website for my courses.



I have been teaching at MSHS for the past 13 years. Prior to that, I taught Language Arts at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs, CO, and was employed to teach English, coach hockey and rowing and supervise a dormitory by the Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana.

I hold a Bachelor's of Arts in History and English/Literary Writing (with an emphasis in poetry) from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Humanities from Colorado College. My certification to teach was awarded by Northern Michigan University.

In addition to teaching at MSHS, I am a freelance journalist and writer of fiction. My work appears reglarly in Marquette Monthly and other publications.
