Shooting, Capturing, Editing and Publishing - Tuesday, June 17, 2008
During Tuesday's session, students heard a short lecture on SPEAKING ON CAMERA, emphasizing voice control and body language (Notes can be found on the lesson page for SPEAKING ON CAMERA). Students then storyboarded a short lesson or introductory video, filmed the lesson or introduction, captured the video to the computer, edited the video, rendered it as a movie, then uploaded the movie to teachertube.com or schooltube.com.

Technical difficulties were omnipresent today, but progress was made.

At the end of the hour, Mr. H introduced the work of Steve Hartman, of CBS News. 
Introduction - Monday, June 16, 2008
In Monday's session, Mr. H introduced himself and tried to get to know his students' experience levels and interestes is using video for class work.

Topics of lecture/discussion included:
-Taping of lectures and lecture summaries.
-Embedding video in teacher web pages.

-The structure of a commercials.
-Format for an instructional video (the Three T's, signposts, etc.)
-Structure of a News story (Inverted Pyramid, The Big 6)
-Camera Positions
-WALLDO
-Some Specialty Camera Shots
-Storyboarding
