Welcome to Freshman Academy-Team B!  The year's core classes are Alg 1 or Geometry, English 1/2 and Global Science and Transtitions.  The team teachers are Brad Nelson for Algebra or Geometry, Derek Sandstrom for English, and Becky Simmons for science; Lisa Jahnke is the the team's special education teacher.

Please know that we will work hard to help your child succeed. Know that your child will be challenged academically throughout the year. We ask that parents stay involved in their child's education.  Please check the websites and family access regularly and contact us if you have any questions.  Staying involved in your child's education is one of the best indicators of success. 

Our team, along with the guidance and administrative teams, meets regularly to discuss all aspects of our team, please let us know if you have reason to meet with us during the year.  We look forward to a rewarding and successful school year.
